Hey duders! From time to time I like to get y'alls opinions of some of the jams that everyone is talking about... so let's talk music. 

Arkells is a band I have had a major crush on ever since I saw them live while on tour with LIGHTS a few weeks back. Their music has a unique indie/rock sound that always wakes me up and makes me dance.

To commemorate the end of their tour together, LIGHTS has teamed up with her fellow Canadians for a remake of Arkells’ song “Book Club.” This just happens to be my favorite song off Arkells’ latest album Michigan Left, so I was thrilled to hear this new take on the up-tempo song.

The new acoustic version features Max Kerman’s distinct voice harmonizing with LIGHTS’ -- making for a lovely mixture of tones. The best part is that my favorite song has not been made unrecognizable, but rather given a new twist. The latest version gives me a new reason to fall in love with Arkells, and I have a feeling all of you will agree with me.

They are also offering the song as a free download. How sweet.
