Hey duders! From time to time I like to get y'alls opinions of some of the jams that everyone is talking about... so let's talk music. 

Now that we have all had a few hours to let the news sink in that Fall Out Boy is back; let's dig into this new single. The track, "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)"  -- (classic FOB super long emo title) has an anthemic chorus I can already hear fans screaming at their next show. 

To be honest I was not thrilled by the iTunes preview I heard at 8am, and was shocked by Patrick Stumps' Freddie Mercury inspired vocals during the chorus.  My favorite FOB era was From Under The Cork Tree so I was hoping to hear a little more pop/rock. But after a few laps around the track, I can get down with what FOB has delivered on an otherwise boring Monday.

I LOVE that we still get Pete Wentz's melodramatic lyrics.

All the writers keep writing what they write

Somewhere another pretty vein just dies

I've got the scars from tomorrow and I wish you could see

That you're the antidote to everything except for me

The video FOB posted stars 2Chainz, fire and some angry rock chicks. I would have liked to see FOB rocking out themsleves, but I am anxious to hear what else they have coming for us. This year is going to be HUGE.
