The Mixed Tape: 'The Perks of Being A Wallflower' Mix
This weekend my favorite book becomes a movie!
One of the things I loved most about The Perks of Being A Wallflower was the emphasis on music and the mixed tape made by the book’s main character Charlie. When I read the book for the first time in high school, I was really into Something Corporate ‘s Leaving Through The Window, and at the time that record became my version of Charlie's mixed tape. I can’t listen to those songs without thinking of this lovely book.
So here is a little mix of what Charlie came up with for you all to enjoy.
