The Mixed Tape: The Evolution Mix
Let’s face it, if you want to last in popular music you might have to adapt to the changes in music trends and evolve for a lasting career. Even the new Paramore album is going to have, “super poppy songs or dance-y songs.” On the other side of the coin, the artist themselves might feel the need to evolve within themselves and their muisc.
Change can be terrifying for a diehard fan, but in the end we should just trust our favorite artists are following their gut. It’s fun however to compare and contrast how their sound has evolved and how they have “reinvented” themselves over their careers.
