Keane Played a Sold Out Show at LA's Orpheum Theater

Let me be honest. I don't know a whole lot about Keane, but when I was asked if I wanted to photograph them I answered with an immediate yes. Mainly because Somewhere Only We Know is one of my favorite songs (which is funny cause it's the one everyone knows) but also because they've always seemed like a cool band to see live. So I'm extremely happy I said yes to taking a venture to downtown LA's Orpheum Theater, a place I have never shot before to see the very talented Keane play a sold out show to a very stoked crowd. As a quick note, there isn't a photo pit at the gorgeous architexturally beautiful Orpheum, instead there is a platform you have to climb over a railing to get to because it normally houses the orchestra for plays. I was told to be aware of where I stepping so that I didn't fall through a trap door. Scary. While up front before the sh
