The Evolution of Green Day

Green Day has had a long career in the music industry. These guys have managed to have huge success while maintaining who they are as musicians and keeping their edge. I have vivid memories of hearing their 1994 album Dookie while driving in the car with my older brothers. It was some of the first alterative music I had ever heard and loved it. I even tried to bring the tape to play in class when I was in Elementary School. Don't worry, my gym teacher took it right out of the boom box! Regardless, Dookie still holds up over a decade later and its incredible to see how far they have come! As the debut of Green Day's new album UNO! approaches, I wanted to take a little walk down memory lane a see how the punk rockers have evolved over the years -- or maybe they haven't!
